Business Services
The Business Services department is responsible for business operations of the district, including budget and accounting, facility maintenance and operations, the bond construction program, student transportation, nutrition services, and purchasing.
The DIXON Smart School House team is committed to working in conjunction with the Business Services Department to provide sound financial management for the district as well as school facilities that are clean, safe and in good repair.

Maximize funding based on student characteristics, providing greater flexibility to improve student outcomes.

Create systems of district accountability to ensure use of funding for upgrades and repairs.
State Funding
Utilize funding based on the demographics and needs of the students in each district.
Eligibility Determination
Estimate current and future space and modernization needs to access bond funds.
Joint Use Agreements
Determine the ability to utilize agreements for facility construction, sharing capital and operating costs, and purposes of facility use.
